Affirmations

It is very important to remind our Loved Ones, as much as Ourselves, the Wonderful Qualities that we have through Affirmations. Words definitely have an impact on the way you take upon your day and your self-esteem.

It is a form of recognition to the Self Being that deserves to be Acknowledged. I know from my own personal experience, simple Affirmations to myself, for example, before delivering a speech in front of a public, can Affirm all the great qualities I possess.

Another example, is saying to Myself… “I am Intelligence, I am Prepared, I am Focused, I am Beauty” right before delivering my speech, which helps me tremendously.

Saying these Affirmations to myself will help boost my Confidence in the same way it will do for a loved one or a friend, if I say it to them.
It is a good idea to say these Affirmations before Little Ones do something Courageous. It will help put themselves in a Better and Confident position, before doing what they are about to do… to Deliver with much Better Quality.

Believe

Life has Endless Possibilities.
For example, I came as an immigrant from Guadalajara, Jalisco to the United States. I was raised in some of the roughest, poorest streets of East LA.

Still, with the obstacles of life and very little family support, I managed to get a US citizenship, graduate from UCLA, buy my first home at the age of 23, have businesses like a clothing line, boutique, a spa and many others and still maintain a career as a math teacher. Did I stop there?? Absolutely not!!

I have now published a children’s Poetry Book and I am working full force with it as I continue to develop myself as an Artist.

How have I managed to do all of this ??
By BELIEVING in myself 100%.

Take Risks

I have gone this far in life because of all the Risks I have taken, in various Business Ventures.

In Business, you have to Invest. There is no guarantee to any profit at all. There is a risk to losing it all and even going negative. I have gone through both and I have still managed to survive. The lessons it has taught me have been bigger than the ones I’ve learned when I Win and Profit. Therefore, Taking Risks will only prepare you for bigger and better opportunities.

A monetary loss is only a challenge to make you find a new path. Through that new journey, you have built in opportunity to make up for previous losses and get big winnings. For example, on the first home i tried to buy, I put a down payment on it, but I did not follow through with the transaction. I lost about $6000. However, on the first home that I purchased, I made over 10 times what I lost because of the knowledge I gained from the first risk I took. I can say it was never a loss, but an Investment to the New ME that was now better equipped to make better real estate transactions.

Passion

I definitely believe that we can have different Passions and build a team to fulfill all of them.

You should never limit yourself to what you do. Sometimes it means ignoring peoples opinions about you. For example, I am a Teacher, I also Act and I usually have a business running all at the same time. People have made comments like, you’re spreading yourself too thin, you need to focus only on one, you’re doing too much.

It doesn’t feel that way because all of the things that I am doing represent what I am about educating, inspiring and entertaining. Although they can be right, if I focus only on one thing I will be more successful faster on that one thing, it doesn’t mean I cannot build a balance of working on my different desires.

Through your growth and experience you can eventually put some things aside to focus more on the ones you have evolved and love the most by being confident in building a team and delegating tasks.

Bond

Sometimes the lack of something makes you realize the value of it, especially if you’re exposed to it in another way.

For example, in my household there was a lack of any type of Bonding. My parents didn’t have the type of love and affection towards each other, which meant they didn’t have it towards us as children. There was no actions or conversations to help us build that special family bond. My parents never asked me how was my day, what are my goals, or anything really for that matter. They worked and basically felt that their role was to keep a roof over my head and give me a meal.

The love behind a family bond never flourished. However, I saw it in movies and I saw the value it gave those families. Therefore, I always have yearned for it.

A bonding in a family is the foundation to the development of a strong and healthy confidence in every human being.
